Galactics I is the Florida Champion of the US Men's Open Cup 2008.  The team celebrated a 5:2 victory against Lynch's Irish Pub in Jacksonville last Sunday, April 20th.  Galatics will now represent Florida along with four other teams at the Region III tournament in Orange Park, May 23-26 (see http://www.region3adultsoccer.org).  From there the road will take our team all the way to Washington State for the National Cup Finals in August.

Galactics I had an incredible record of goals and victories throughout the past FSSL season.  With 119 goals scored in 21 league and cup games (that's an average of 5.7 goals per game), Galactics I  is a very successful team, moving closer and closer to reaching the goal of "Pro".
