Galactics I - our number 1 team
made history once again
Galactics I crowned themselves champions of the Florida Suncoast Soccer League (FSSL) 1. Division, this past Sunday. The game was a success with a score of 9:0. Galactics I vs. PHC International, at Canal Park, Oldsmar Florida.
The History of the Galactics I team for the FSSL season 2007/2008:
Galactics I had a great season start on last years first game on September 9th, 2007. The oponent team was Lakeland Club at our homefield giving us a winning score of 8:0. From then on Galactics I obtained an admirable status, totaling 14 games, 13 of which were won, 1 tied and 0 losses.
As of this moment our no. 1 team has scored a total of 86 goals (only 6 goals against us), thus putting us at an average of 6.2 goals a game!
With these numbers and still having 2 more games to play we re going to break the old record of the prestigous Kickers Premier team from Tampa, having their best FSSL season scoring 94 : 9.
Prior to winning this FSSL Division I season 2007/2008, Galactics I had already won the Stuart Cup, Jekyll Island Cup, and the Galactics Cup in 2007.
