From the 24th to the 27th of January 2008, Galactics will compete in one of Florida's most prestigious tournaments - the Walt Disney World Soccer Classic.  Galactics will be representing Clearwater with 2 teams, our Galactics Premier team in the Men's Open category and our Galactics Masters in the O40 division.  Local teams as well as teams from all over the country will be competing in several different categories for the winning trophies.

One year ago our Galactics O40 Team fought their way to the finals and emerged with the 2nd place trophy after 90 minutes of nonstop action. This year, soccer stars and former National Team players such as Luis "Chonto" Herrera (Colombian national team), Marcelo Fracchia (former professional player from Colo Colo of Chile), Luis Mendoza (former professional player from Venezuela) and others will be joining the Galactics Masters in this tournament for an even stronger team.

Our Galactics Premier Team is now better than ever. At the top of their FSSL division, they are, no doubt, ready to take on the challenge of the Walt Disney Soccer Classic and the tough competition they will face there.
