Galactics Clearwater International F.C. has invited renown Colombian physiologist, Luis Javier Fernandez, to hold an informative seminar on soccer injuries and rehabilitation in our club house in Downtown Clearwater this month.

Mr. Fernandez, a former professional soccer player of the team Atletico Nacional from Colombia and a doctor of sports medicine, has an extensive history of working with such professional Colombian soccer teams as Medellin, Junior, Quindio, Pereira, Bucaramanga, Santafe and the Seleccion Colombia A.  In the course of his practice, Luis Javier Fernandez was able to work with such soccer stars as Carlos "El Pibe" Valderrama, Jorge Bolanos, Mauricio "Chicho" Serna, Juan Pablo Angel, Leonel Alvarez and Diego Serna Lopera.

Our Galactics International Soccer Festival 2007 was a BIG success. Close to 2,000 spectators and all the invited soccer super stars like Carlos "El Pibe" Valderrama and Tab Ramos enjoyed the festival and the highlight in the afternoon with the exhibition game versus the Galactics Masters.

There is one common denominator between spectators and participants: everybody wants to come again to the next Galactics International Soccer Festival in 2008.

Thousands of Spectators expected for our Galatics International Soccer Festival 2007 this coming Saturday, December 1st. Besides of our highlight with the exhibition game our festival also offers a lot of fun for kids. We have 2 bouncy houses, little soccer fields for playing for fun and more!
