This past week the team had 6 practice sessions and one friendly game against Dynamo New Tampa (Premier Division), which ended with another Galactics Victory of  4:1 (to see the game report, click here). During these 6 practice sessions the team focused on recovering and reconditioning for the upcoming Region III tournament in Jacksonville, Fl.  This week also helped players Charlie de Souza, Robert Rivers, Felipe Libreros, Birahim Diop and Marvin Arzu work on their injury rehabilitation with professor Mauricio Rodriguez.

For this coming week there are 2 friendly games scheduled with different regional teams, in order for the team to maintain its competitive rhythm and generate similar physiological effects as the ones coming up for the competition in Jacksonville, Fl.  After these games the necessary physical, technical, tactical and strategic adjustments will be done in order to have the team “at point“ for the Region III competition.

The last 3 players on this roster are new to Galactics, joining the team from the Galactics 2 and 3 teams. Not to forget, player Birahim Diop also recently joined the team with extensive professional soccer experience in the MLS (Major League Soccer) and in Europe.
