Last Thursday, July 31st, five Galactics Women's and U17 team players boarded a plane at Tampa International Airport and headed for Medellin, Colombia. Stephanie Bachtle, Tammy Young, Katie Koerber, Adriana Cardona and Kiomy Cruz were invited by coach Wilson Tavares to participate in a tournament to honor Medellin's famous "Feria de las Flores" (Medellin Flower Festival). |

The Galactics Women's Team will play a friendly game against Tampa Bay Hellenics this Sunday, June 22, at 2:00pm at Ed Radice Field in Tampa. This is a very important game for Galactics against a local semi-professional team and will help make our newly formed and already successful women's team more known in the area. |

Galactics' first women's soccer team put on an incredible performance in the Women's Open Category of the Lowcountry Soccer Festival 2008. This competition was the team's first and all girls showed unprecedented teamwork, effort and spirit throughout the 3-day tournament in Charleston, South Carolina, playing against some of the best women's amateur teams in the Southeastern US. |

Galactics Clearwater International F.C. has put together a competitive all-women's soccer team. This team, comprised of excellent players from Florida and out-of-state will compete in the prestigious Lowcountry Soccer Festival 2008 in Charleston, South Carolina, this weekend (May 24-26), along with the club's renown O40 team. This large tournament offers participants several women's divisions and the Galactics Women's Team is entered into the highest competitive bracket, the Women's Open Division. |
