Be Part of the Biggest Soccer Boom in the Area - Galactics F.C.
Galactics Clearwater International F.C., now an already well-known soccerclub in the Tampa Bay area, has accomplished much since its inauguration in May 2006, less than two years ago. Within little more than a year, Galactics had 500 members and since launching its new membership program in September 2007, signed up over 100 more under this new and improved service.
Members, not just soccer players, make a big difference in a soccerclub. Where would Real Madrid, or Manchester United be now, if it weren't for their members; their fans? Members are the support, the volunteers, the fans! It is our goal, as part of our plans to have a professional soccer team and all-soccer complex here in the Tampa Bay area, to have thousands of members. By paying a small annual fee, members support the club and its programs and assist us in the further expansion of our organization and cause. At the same time, Galactics members receive exclusive, club-member-only benefits, such as invitations and discounts to club events, free use of club facilities etc.
One of our exciting goals for 2008 is to add another 500 members to the Galactics membership base by June 30th this year. This includes new players, as well as general members, such as players' family members, friends etc., who do not necessarily wish to play soccer themselves, but are soccer enthusiasts and would like to participate in club activities, stay up-to-date on club affairs, or who simply want to contribute and support a local non-profit soccer club with a big dream, such as Galactics F.C.
Anybody can be a Galactics Member! All you need to do is sign up, either online, or in our club house offices in downtown Clearwater and once you have paid the membership fee, you receive your very own Galactics welcome kit (those who sign up online, please print out your receipt and bring it in to our club house offices, so you can receive your welcome kit and take a photo for your ID card). Every Galactics member will receive a photo-ID membership card by mail, once he has signed up and paid.
